Domestic Violence & Abuse

Confidential one-to-one support, group awareness sessions, police surgeries, and trauma-informed counselling for survivors of abuse.

Health & Wellbeing

Counselling, health awareness workshops, cervical and breast screening support, menopause clinics, and sexual health services.

Poverty Support

Food bank, community meals, essential items, emergency grants, and partnership support to tackle gendered poverty head-on.

Pregnancy and After Childbirth Support

We provide a wide range of support tailored to their needs, from pregnancy through to when the child starts school.

Legal Support

Free immigration advice with Batley Law, family law support with Pepperells Solicitors, and regular legal surgeries on-site.

Advocacy & Campaign

We speak for women when they can’t and support them to speak for themselves when they can, providing timely support.

This is a practical, innovative step to involve the most underserved segments that were struggling to heal themselves in a neutral, women-only, culturally appropriate space surrounded by well-qualified, experienced women of colour to guide them.

Our Regular Child Crèche

Our space fosters meaningful interactions, allowing both mothers and children to thrive together in a positive atmosphere. We also provide essential items like food, toys, nappies, milk, and more to keep our young ones nourished and happy.

Coffee Morning and Drop-in

Every morning, women and children gather at the centre to enjoy tea or coffee and biscuits, and some also share breakfast together in a warm, welcoming, and safe atmosphere.

No Recourse to Public Funds

We support women with no recourse to public funds. We provide a range of services to help them, including food parcels, emergency funds, legal advice, and access to healthcare.

We support women and children facing violence, abuse, discrimination, oppression, poverty and issues with immigration, health and welfare rights. Our service is specialist, culturally appropriate and fully equipped to help those with complex needs.
