ESOL

Hull Sisters is an NOCN-accredited centre providing essential language and practice skills.

Our ESOL classes are designed to help our service users improve their English proficiency in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Our qualified and experienced teachers provide engaging lessons that cover all aspects of English language learning, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking. We offer a range of levels to suit different abilities.

We’re committed to helping learners achieve their goals, whether improving their employability, gaining further education, or simply feeling more confident in their daily lives.

Our classes are suitable for those new to our community or seeking to improve their language abilities.

We are an accredited centre with ESB and deliver ESOL with accreditation. This means our learners can get nationally recognised certificates which they can use to get registered in further educational programmes, volunteering and get employment.

“When I first came to the UK, I could not speak English. This caused me many difficulties as I could not talk to services when I needed help, and I couldn’t get a job meaning I had no money. I have been attending English classes at Hull Sisters and I have moved up from the lowest ability to the highest English class. My confidence has greatly improved, and I am now able to have a conversation in English. Thanks to my improved English I have been able to integrate into society. This has involved getting a job at a local restaurant and making friends with my coworkers and the people around me.

The English classes provided by Hull Sisters have completely changed my life and I am so much happier now as I feel like I have a purpose in life and a great community around me.”
