Confidential Support

You can drop-in for a confidential one-on-one support session, join a group session or just stop by for drink and a chat

One-on-One Support

Hull Sisters offers one-to-one support sessions to understand what challenges you may be facing, big or small, and how we can help you.

During these confidential sessions, women share how they are feeling and how their life challenges affect their mental and physical health. Issues include health, housing, welfare, abuse, refugee complications, complex cultural issues, maternity issues, and honour-based abuse.

Group Support

Hull Sisters offers group support sessions to help women to feel supported as they hear from others who have been through a similar experience. It is a safe space for the women to talk as little or as much as they feel comfortable. Most of the women share their stories. It helps them to release anger, distress and tension.

Examples of group support session discussions include rape, domestic violence, racism, discrimination, and societal pressures.

Drop-in

All our clients whether current or new, come during the day and enjoy drinking coffee and tea in a safe and secure and women-only pleasant environment that encourages them to share their issues with the specialist worker and receive practical support.
