On 13 December 2021, Hull Sisters was invited onto BBC Radio Humberside to participate in the popular Make A Difference segment on Andy Comfort’s show.
The radio appearance provided an open platform to share our ongoing work supporting women and families across the city. During the conversation, our team discussed the practical services we offer to combat isolation, empower women from diverse backgrounds, and build long-term resilience.
Crucially, the segment highlighted how local listeners, volunteers, and community partners can get involved to support the Hull Sisters mission whether through donations, volunteering time, or raising awareness. Direct community involvement remains the backbone of our organisation, and we are grateful to BBC Radio Humberside for giving a voice to our community.
