In July 2022, Hull Sisters hosted our annual Summer Event, welcoming over 600 women and children from across the city for a vibrant day of connection, solidarity, and joy.
The celebration brought together community members from diverse backgrounds alongside special invited guests, including the Lord Mayor of Hull and representatives from the Women’s Equality Party.
The day was filled with lively music, cultural dancing, and shared food, creating a warm, festive environment where families could unwind and forge new friendships. Beyond the celebrations, the massive turnout underscored the vital importance of Hull Sisters as a trusted hub that fosters belonging, mutual support, and visibility for minoritised women and their children throughout Hull.
