Hull Sisters has expanded its formal network by becoming an official member of Locality, the national network dedicated to supporting local community organisations and unlocking community power.
Joining Locality connects our hub with hundreds of community-led initiatives across the nation, providing peer support, strategic enterprise resources, and national advocacy platforms that reinforce our operational sustainability. Alongside Locality, Hull Sisters continues to maintain distinguished memberships across pivotal umbrella organizations, including the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), the Community Wealth Fund Alliance, Hull CVS, and the East Riding Voluntary Action Services (ERVAS).
Crucially, Hull Sisters remains an active and committed member of the End Violence Against Women (EVAW) coalition, holding the distinction of being the sole women-led specialist organization with this membership in our local area. Through EVAW’s network of over 120 specialist feminist bodies, we champion an intersectional, anti-racist approach to dismantling violence against women and girls, ensuring the distinct vulnerabilities of migrant and minoritised women are fully represented in policy discussions.
These formal affiliations solidify our standing as a trusted, professionally integrated organization, allowing us to bring frontline grassroots realities straight into local and national strategic dialogues.
