To ensure no woman or girl in our community has to go without essential care, Hull Sisters has been appointed as the official citywide picking point for Hey Girls, the national award-winning social enterprise dedicated to eradicating period poverty across the UK.
Under this vital partnership, Hull Sisters operates as a welcoming, judgment-free collection hub. Any woman or girl can visit our centre at Unit 12, Station Drive, and access high-quality, eco-friendly pads and tampons completely free of charge. The service is open with no qualifying criteria, no means testing, and no questions asked, ensuring that dignity and privacy are preserved at all times.
Beyond on-site pickup, sanitary products are routinely integrated into our foodbank parcels and distributed during home visits to support mothers, asylum seekers in temporary lodging, and single parents.
By removing financial barriers to a universal biological process, this partnership provides immediate relief to thousands of households, empowering women and girls across Hull to participate fully in education, work, and community life with confidence and peace of mind.
