Foodbank

Our foodbank service is open to the local community who are experiencing financial difficulties and struggling to provide for themselves and their families.

We are dedicated to supporting members of our community who are in need. We understand that tough times can happen to anyone, and our mission is to help alleviate the burden of food and hygiene insecurity.

We work with Fareshare, local businesses, organisations, and individuals to supply donations of food items, such as fresh fruit and veg, canned goods, pasta, rice, and other staple items.

We believe that healthy and nutritious food is a basic human right.

No Child Should Go Hungry

Children are particularly vulnerable to the effects of food insecurity, which can have serious long-term consequences for their health and well-being. That’s why we’re committed to providing baby formula, baby food and nutritious snacks to families with children so that they can thrive and reach their full potential. Our goal is to ensure that no child in our community goes hungry, and we’re proud to be positively impacting the lives of children and families in need.

Hygiene Poverty

Hull Sisters is an official donation partner for Hey Girls. This means that period products are free for all service users with no questions asked. No one will be asked for anything in exchange for free products. Period products are available in unlimited quantities.

We also accept donations of adult and children’s personal care items, such as nappies, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and toilet paper.

We take pride in providing a welcoming and non-judgmental environment for our clients. When you visit our foodbank, you will be greeted with a smile and treated with dignity and respect. Our volunteers are here to help you.

If you or someone you know is in need of food or hygiene assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re proud to be part of a community that cares, and we look forward to continuing to serve our neighbours in need.

“Hull Sisters has helped support Alexandra's essential needs by supplying food and hygiene products. Alexandra said, "I have used foodbank services and charity help like Hull Sisters because I have nothing to live on after paying my bills”
